Excellent. There is in my opinion from spending the last five years as a parent a sort of inferiority complex that some moms, stay at home ones, seem to feel where they have to justify being mothers by making it seem like a horrible thing. The truth is that being a parent in a anti-natalist place like California is hard, boring, and lonely. But ever since we moved to South Carolina we made so many friends with kids close in age to ours and it's been amazing. So much so that I look forward to spending time with them, watching our kids play, grilling, having a good time with family. It's what you make of it and I agree with you so much. Of course things feel hard and lonely when our society is no longer geared towards family, but we can make it, we can do our own thing.

On a different note, I have a copy of Girl on my kindle that I want to start soon, should I wait for the 2nd edition to come out and read that instead, is the text changed or just the cover?
